Twitter has imposed a new ban on users

Users are now subject to a new rule from the social networking site Twitter, which states that sending a link to another social media site will result in account cancellation. Elon Musk also carried out a fresh survey to learn what people think of him.

Twitter confirmed in a statement that if the link to any third-party social networking website is posted, both the message and the account will be deleted.

According to the announcement, Twitter users won't be able to post the usernames of their Instagram or other social media profiles.

Any user won't be allowed to share their Instagram account link or username in a tweet after Twitter implemented this new restriction.

Twitter co-founder Jack Dorsey expressed his skepticism about the new rule by simply writing "Why?"

Elon Musk, the billionaire owner of Twitter, also polled users following the announcement of the new policy to determine whether they thought he should be removed as CEO. Elon Musk stated that he would closely monitor the poll's findings.

The accounts of journalists covering Elon Musk, including those connected to the CNN television network, the Washington Post, the American newspaper New York Times, and other media organizations, were also suspended by Twitter last week. Accounts were opened again.
